WELCOME MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
My Fellow Liberians & Friends of Liberia,
Welcome to the Liberian American Communication Organization’s NEW website www.lacosc.org! This has been a long time coming and it is our ardent hope that this medium is used to disseminate information to and from our community and the world at large, bridging the gap in our communication with you, our members.
Against this backdrop and on behalf of our Administration and Executive Committee, I’d like to take this opportunity to express our sincerest thanks and appreciation to all of you for your support and participation in the activities leading up to and including our Independence Day program. Your overwhelming support, involvement and contributions were indeed an indication of what we can accomplish together as a team.
As we continue to labor in concert for the common good of our community, our country and the world at large, we encourage you to use this forum to communicate your ideas, suggestions and constructive criticism to the leadership. It is only through this process that we can usher effective improvement and development into this organization. The organization will also do its part in keeping you informed of all planned activities through this site and will strive to keep it updated as often as necessary.
The launching of our website is an exciting venture with infinite possibilities, so I urged you to use it to its fullest potential.
Finally, Liberians and Friends of Liberia, as you are aware, the development and maintenance of a website is a monumental task, requiring continuous improvement, constant updating, planning and testing to stay current with the technology. TIME is a necessary prerequisite for the successful development and running of a website. Bearing this in mind, please join me in extending our heartfelt gratitude and thanks to Mr. Elmo L. Dinkins III, whose hard work and dedication has resulted in www.lacosc.org.
To you Mr. Dinkins, we say thank you!
Respectfully,
Lewis K. Free, President LACO
