Our Chairman, Mr Mamadee Dorbor's Car Vandalized...

In what the Police suspect could have “malicious intent,” the 1998 Toyota Avalon belonging to Mr. J. Mamadee Dorbor, Chairman of the Liberian Community, was vandalized on September 12, 2005 while parked at his Los Angeles residence. The unknown suspect smashed the hood, roof, taillights, bumpers and several other parts of the car, leaving it with more than $4000 in repair cost.

The story does not end there! On October 3, 2005, the rental car assigned to Mr. Dorbor by his insurance company, while his car was being repaired, was also vandalized. The suspect again smashed the hood, broke the taillights and rearview mirror, etc., leaving this second car with $2000 worth of damage.

The Police Department (Rampart Police Department,) investigating the case has not ruled out foul play by someone who has a vendetta against Mr. Dorbor. While detectives have been assigned to the case, Mr. Dorbor has also been advised to solicit the help of friends in an effort to track this criminal.

If you have any information on the suspect(s) of this insidious act, no matter how small, please contact Mr. J. Mamadee Dorbor at (323)-913-1743 or the Rampart Police Department in Los Angeles Phone # (213)-485-8572
